Indygo Artwear creates unique kids clothing designs and fabric patterns for each and every range so, like the beautiful and unique children that wear them, Indygo Artwear kids clothes are one-of-a-kind purchases. Nestled at the foot of the picturesque Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa, the Indygo Artwear head office, factory and store helps to uplift the local Cape Town community through training, employing and developing its employees. Artists hand-paint every single cloth so, unlike the rest of the industry, we work with large 'canvasses' as opposed to rolls of printed fabric.  This trademark hand-painting aspect is labour-intensive, providing much needed employment in Cape Town. By supporting Indygo Artwear, you are supporting previously unemployed men and women that we have helped nurture into skilled artists.  

In addition to this website, Indygo artwear has a flagship store at the prestigious V&A Waterfront tourism and shopping complex in Cape Town. The flagship store is located in the hub of children’s fashion at the shopping complex and prides itself as being unique - a hand-painted kids clothing label. In addition to all of the girl’s wear available on this website, the store offers hand-painted shoes and accessories.
